## The Real Problem

Talaat Moustafa Group develops master-planned communities across Egypt, from residential and commercial to recreational, with landmarks like Madinaty, El-Rehab and May Fair. That scale is also the challenge: communities, residences, commercial projects, e-commerce, news, careers and investor relations all compete for space on one website. At that scale, the UI/UX design of a real estate developer website starts with structure.

## Finding the Fix

We started with discovery: stakeholder interviews, a design backlog and a feature breakdown. Then came the experience design: user flows, information architecture, competition analysis and sketches. The mind map gave every audience a clear path, whether they were buying a home, investing or applying for a job.

## What Actually Happened

From wireframes we moved into a design system and the visual direction, then designed the home page, the internal pages and the resort websites. A real Figma prototype, with component variations and behaviors written out, made the handoff to development smooth.

Development built the site on a CMS with custom blocks and plugins, then tested the APIs, the front end, security and performance. The site launched officially in July 2024.

## Design Elements

- **360° site tours** of communities like El-Rehab, Al-Rabwa, May Fair and Madinaty, from wherever you are.
- **The community app**, promoted on the site: news, neighbors and services in one place.

## The System

A 12-column grid with 100px margins and 24px gutters, Montserrat for titles and text, and a navy and gold palette that carries the weight of an established brand.

## What I Learned

**On big sites, structure comes first.** The mind map did more for usability than any single screen.

**Handoff is part of design.** Documenting variations and behaviors in the prototype saved the team from guesswork during development.
