## The Real Problem

Deepal makes electric cars for modern, tech-savvy drivers, but the digital experience around them did not match the product. Customers had limited access to real-time vehicle information, booking a service was slow and clumsy, and there was no single place to control their car.

Buying a premium EV and then managing it through scattered, generic tools broke the promise of a connected, futuristic brand. As UI/UX designer at Pimula, I worked on the website and mobile app design that closes that gap.

## Finding the Fix

Instead of a website and an app designed in isolation, we designed one ecosystem that follows the customer from exploration to ownership:

- **The website** for discovery: an immersive way to explore models, technology and charging, built to raise awareness and drive purchases.
- **The app** for ownership: real-time vehicle access, remote controls, service scheduling, test-drive booking and a marketplace, all in one place.

## How We Worked

The project ran in five sprints: discovery, research, ideation, visual design, then testing and development. Underneath both products sits one design system: Montserrat for a clean, tech-forward voice, a palette of Midnight Navy, Soft Aqua, White and Slate Gray, and responsive grids of 12 columns on desktop and 4 on mobile.

## What We Built

The website opens on "Touch the future" and leads into models, charging, the panoramic interior and the lighting details, with a mega menu that puts every model one click away. The app turns the car into a digital companion: you see its status, control it remotely and book services without calling anyone.

## What Changed

The result is a modern, user-focused B2C platform built for clarity, confidence and performance:

- **40%** faster interaction with the owned car
- **4+** new features to manage the car from the app
- **60%** conversion rate from website to app
- **4,000+** new sales through the app and the website

## What I Learned

**Design the journey, not the channel.** The website and the app only felt like one brand once we planned them as stages of the same story.

**A shared system pays off.** One type scale, palette and grid made two products faster to design and kept them consistent.
